Trained by Kevin Powderly, One Horn Billy, with Todd Day in the spider, started a $2.80 equal favourite in the AMBOS Stock Feeds Pace over 1720 metres, recording a 5.9 metre win over Hello Miss Kitty ($12, Rodney Blythe) with 8.10 metres to equal favourite Forged In Fire (Grace Fahy) in third place.
The win was just reward for the consistent Young pacer which hadn't finished further back than fourth at its previous four outings.
The David Micallef trained Cocofollownoone ($6.50, Blake Micallef) scored an upset win in the Hilltops Equine Centre Pace over 1720 metres defeating Hard To Love ($41, Trevor Sutherland). Short priced favourite Sir Mac's Man ($1.70, Jackson Painting) was 5.4 metres adrift in third place.
Racing is at the Riverina Paceway today where Young is well represented.
