On Saturday the wet weather saw a late change to a Medley single stableford Ball Sweepstakes. The winner was David Hamblin with 42 points from Joe Roberts with 41 points. Jake Veney was third with 39 points and Estelle Roberts was fourth on 37 points. Balls went down to 33 points on a countback and there were 21 players.

This coming Saturday the 23rd October is a 4 Ball Worst Ball stableford sponsored by Darcy Whinam, Gary Anderson and Aaron Moloney. Saturday 30th October is the annual Par 3 Open Championship sponsored by the Young Services Club. The event is played in Mens/Ladies scratch and handicap divisions.
Medley Golf
The Wednesday Medley was won by Carolyn Shaw with 40 points on a countback from Don Cruikshank and she won 10 balls. Third was Grant Harding with 37 points from Tom Mueller on a countback from John Jones and Adrian Hanrahan. Balls went down to 32 points on a countback and there were 51 players.
The Friday 9 hole competition was won by Bob Martin with 24 points. The wet weather impacted the size of the field and there were only 3 players.
On Sunday the Social Club played a 14 hole event and the winner was Ross Manskie with 73 nett on a countback from Lloyd Foley. Third was Ron Flynn with 58 nett and there were 14 players.
The Sunday Kyle McGovern Electrical medley was won by Michael Ashton with 43 points on a countback. The Sam Woods Hilltops Regional Security secret birdie hole was the 10th hole and it was not struck. Next week the jackpot will be $60. There were 41 players.
Young Tyrepower Business House competition has started. After week 1 in the pre-Xmas competition the leaders are Fruitbarn with 12 points from JMH Kitchens on 11 points and Armstrong Plumbing on 10 points. Its not too late to enter a team. Contact the Pro Shop on 63821543.
