Murrumbidgee Local Health District is inviting people to share their artwork to be displayed in a virtual art gallery, as part of Mental Health Month.
Submitted artworks will be displayed online in the virtual gallery and artists can share the meaning alongside their piece if they wish.

Judged by a panel of MLHD staff and people from our Lived Experience Network, one artwork will be selected as winner, with five runners-up.
The winning artwork will be:

- displayed in the foyer of the Mental Health Unit in Wagga until the end of 2021
- awarded a $500 gift voucher

Tiffany Thompson from MLHD's Mental Health Drug and Alcohol Service said the Lived Experience Art Gallery is for all people with lived or caring experience of mental health, drug and alcohol issues.
"Many people find creativity and artwork an important part of managing their mental wellbeing and practising self-care," Tiffany said.
"We thank everyone who submits their artwork and we acknowledge the courage that it takes to share your work and your stories."
The Artwork Competition is open to anyone living in the Murrumbidgee Local Health District, who is aged over 18 and has personal or caring experience of mental health, drug or alcohol issues.
