Young Aquatic Centre has released the dates of upcoming swimming carnivals to allow the public to know that the pool will be closed on these days.

"Over the next few weeks the following carnivals will be held at the pool," the Young Aquatic Centre post on Facebook read.
"The pool will be closed to the public for the duration of each carnival."
The Young Aquatic Centre has thanked the public for their understanding over the closure for the carnivals.
"Thanks for your patience during this busy time," the Centre wrote.
The dates for the upcoming carnivals are:
- Sunday January 30 - Young Amateur Swimming Club Carnival
- Monday February 7 - St Mary's Primary School Carnival
- Tuesday February 8 - Young High School Carnival
- Wednesday February 9 - New Madinah College Carnival
- Thursday February 10 - Young Public School Carnival
- Friday February 11 - Hennessy Catholic College Carnival
- Monday February 14 - Small Schools Carnival
- Wednesday February 16 - Young North Primary School Carnival
- Thursday February 24 - Young District Carnival
At the conclusion of the carnival season the pool will reopen to the public as usual.
Young Amateur Swimming Club have held their last week of Holiday Squad training this week in the lead up to what will be a very busy start to 2022 in the pool.
