Officers from Young Police Station charged two local men with drug charges after a search warrant was issued on a Young residence on Tuesday.

Police said they charged a 42 and 21 year-old-male with drug offences on January 25 in Young after allegedly finding cannabis and Methylamphetamine and drug related items on the residential property.
"On Tuesday (25 January 2022), officers attached to Young Detectives, of The Hume Police District executed a search warrant in Brock Street, Young," a Young police spokesperson said.
"During the search police located eight large Cannabis Plants growing in the back yard, along with Methylamphetamine, cannabis, drug paraphernalia and cash."
According to police the 21-year-old male was arrested and charged with Supply Prohibited Drug, Possession of Prohibited Drug and Deal with proceeds of Crime.
"The 21-year-old male was bail refused and will appear at Young Local Court for Mention on Tuesday 1st February 2022," police said.
The 42-year-old male was charged and served with a Court Attendance Notice for the offences of Possession Prohibited Drug and Cultivate Prohibited Plants.
"The 42-year-old male will appear at Young Local Court on 15th March 2022," police said.
