We've taken on the advice of outgoing NRMA director Graham Blight and have been publishing the fuel prices every day between Monday and Friday.
It's our bid to help local motorists find the cheapest fuel in town and compare prices locally, around the district and in Sydney.
These are the prices in Young for today, January 19. The district prices are the average prices recorded by NRMA yesterday. We have been unable to collect Harden's prices.
Three local stations have dropped their prices again compared to what they were charging on Friday - one by as much as six cents.
Woolworths is charging 117.9 for E10 today, six cents less than Friday. While Caltex dropped a further four cents to make 125.9 cents per litre after dropping three cents on Friday, and Shell is three cents less today on 123.9.
Two other stations (BP and Road House) have remained the same since last week and one (Mobil) has increased by two cents to bring today's price to 121.9.
Today's figures are a nice big drop for motorists compared to this time last week - when we began our campaign and within the same week ACCC vowed to investigate the giant price gap between country and city bowsers.
The Road House on Young's outskirts takes the crown for reducing their unleaded price the most (by 15 cents) compared to last Monday when they were charging 131.9.
Last Monday's prices for the remaining stations almost seem like a distant memory as well when Caltex and BP were charging 134.9 cents - nine and eight cents (respectively) more than today.
Woolworths is 12 cents cheaper today than this time last week and both Mobil and Shell are 10 cents cheaper today than last Monday.
But today Young's average unleaded petrol price of 122.2 cents per litre still remains 17.5 cents higher than Sydney's average of 104.7.
Though it's a more favourable gap than what it was last Monday between the Cherry Capital and the big smoke when there was a 22.4 cents difference.
Sydney's average continues to fall by an average of 1.16 cents per day, yesterday only charging 104.7 cents per litre.
Surrounding areas have also dropped - Cootamundra by 3.2 cents to charge 129.4, Forbes and Yass by 0.1 cents to make 117.2 and 120.5 respectively, and Temora by 0.6 cents to charge 121.9.
