The ladies had lost a close encounter last time the two sides met, 1-0, but were able to turn around the result with a comfortable 2-0 win. Micaela Hall and Lucy Williams scoring the goals.
The women continue to impress with their crisp passing game and their strong philosophy to play an attacking style, although they remain focused on not conceding and again held their line firmly.
They have not conceeded a goal in their last three games.
Special praise for Maddison O’Hara, Attaya Peters and April Caldow who all performed strongly, with Micaela Hall being voted player’s player.
This week the ladies play Millthorpe on Sunday, who have been the benchmark of the competition to date and will give a good indication of how the team has improved since the start of the season.
