Celebrating the end of the home and away component of the rugby league season, the footy players were taking part in a pub crawl around Young in fancy dress.
Things evidently got off to a big start when, at 11.15am, one player was allegedly seen highly intoxicated, fully naked, performing sit-ups on a parked car out the front of the Criterion Hotel.
Pranks and dares are often part of Mad Monday celebrations.
Numerous complaints were made to the Young Police Station, with police attending the Criterion Hotel a short time later.
They spoke to the large group of the dressed up men about the alleged nude sit-ups.
Investigations are ongoing, with police speaking to witnesses and viewing CCTV footage.
