Unprovoked, Jacob Patterson, 19, hit the French national over the with a skateboard, and then Michael McKnight, 19, and Jesse Jasprizza, 20, stomped on him while he was down on the ground.
The cherry picker required sutures for a four centimetre head wound and suffered cuts and bruises to his face and body.
Patterson was sentenced to 15 months prison, with a six month non-parole period for his part, while McKnight and Jasprizza were each sentenced to 10 months, with a non-parole period of four months.
