Community worker Jay Leigh of Young was among the 96 women named on the 2013 honour roll.
Department of Primary Industries (DPI) Rural Women’s Network Coordinator, Emma Regan, said all women nominated will be included in the Honour Roll, which will be launched at the 2014 NSW Women’s Gathering at Coolamon on September 12 to 14.
“Please take time to consider nominating a rural woman who has made a difference to help others in the community by contributing to charities, emergency services, the arts, environment, education, social justice or sporting organisations,” Ms Regan said.
