Many travelled from Harden, Cowra, Cootamundra and Boorowa.
Following the AGM the room was filled with excitement for the presentation of the annual awards, which is a highlight of the year for the clients.
The presentation was followed by motivational speaker Allan Staines of the ADHC Ambassador and Champions program, who shared his life experiences on how he lives life to the fullest to achieve his goals.
Allan, being a C5-C6 quadriplegic, was an inspiration to all present.
Adding to the excitement of the night was the organisation’s new name and logo ‘LFE Community Supports’.
The fresh look received a most positive response. This was one aspect of LFE Community Supports in readiness for the National Disability Insurance Scheme.
For the first time this year, early intervention students attended and were included in the awards presentation.
The children were full of excitement to see their photograph’s on the big screen with the presentation showcasing their achievements.
The night was completed with a short motivational movie on the big screen followed by enjoyable light refreshments catered by the Young High School Year 9 food technology department.
LFE Community Supports looks forward to another year of working with people to achieve their greatest potential through growth, opportunity and empowerment in our community of Young and surrounds.
