Between 6pm on Tuesday and 7.30am Wednesday intruders gained entry to Twomey and Twomey accountants in Cloete Street and stole an amount of cash.
Police say that no further information is available, but if anyone can assist them with their enquiries they can contact Young Police on 6382 8199 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
Attempted theft of Caterpillar
POLICE were yesterday morning still investigating the attempted theft of $300,000 of heavy equipment from a local property.
They say that between 3pm on Wednesday and 6.50am Thursday unknown person/s stole a Caterpillar earthmoving machine, belonging to Young Shire Council, from the Spring Creek Road property.
The vehicle was recovered a short distance away from where it was stolen.
Police are hoping members of the public might assist with their investigation.
