The average unleaded price remains steady at 127.2 cents per litre.
But we're still more than eight cents cheaper than Sydney's unleaded average of 135.9 cents, collected by the NRMA yesterday.
On Friday Young was on par with Sydney prices after they jumped seven cents in a day.
Come the weekend they had another rise of 7.9 cents.
An NRMA spokesman said it was "simply the behaviour of the Sydney price cycle".
"Now that the cycle is at the high point, Sydney prices will slowly drop towards $1.22 per litre," he said.
"There is no reason at all to see the 15 cents per litre increase we saw in Sydney as there is no price cycle in regional areas."
