The best overall score was returned by James French and Wayne Honeman 57¾ nett, followed by David Hamblin and Craig Taylor 58 ¼ nett.
Best men, Grant Harding and Stuart Norton, were on 59 nett, followed by visitors Sam Page (Queanbeyan) and Matt Reedy (Crookwell) on 60 ¼ nett.
Great to see Sam and Matt visit for a game.
The best ladies event went to Ros Anderson and Wendy Tuckerman on 72 ½ nett from Liz Harding and Tilla Davis 73 ¼ nett.
The best mixed pair was Ian Tierney and Penny Greaves on 61 ½ nett from Mick and Annette Alexander 62 nett.
Young Detailing Services NTP winners were Gary Nicolls and Zac Williams.
The additional NTP’s, sponsored by Keith Simmons Engineering, and Terry Brothers Carpet Court secret birdie, were not on Saturday’s program.

On Sunday a large field played in the medley with Steve May the winner on 40 points from Cameron Jones, second on 39 points on a countback from Rick Oliver.
Sponsor was Cade and Rhett Armstrong from Armstrong Plumbing.

The social golfers played at Young on Sunday morning with 21 players.
Simon Murray won their event with 29 nett and will have his handicap trimmed by one shot.
Second was Alan Anderson on 31 nett, who will have two shots trimmed.
And third was Rob Harvey on 32 nett and he will have one shot trimmed.
John Anderson returned the Bradmans.
On Wednesday, 65 players participated and Darren O’Brien won the day with 41 points from Barry Martens on 39, second.
Joel Shields was 39 (65 scratch), then Gus Stinson 38 and Greg Broderick 37 points on a countback.
Balls to 32 points on a countback and the jackpot card draw was not won.
On Friday the nine hole play was finalised and Lyn Quay won on 19 points from Shaun Rolfe 18 points.
Simon Oakes was on 18 points and Col Miller on 18 points.

Last Sunday we had a group of golfers visit for a game from the central coast.
Week 6 of the Young Tyrepower- sponsored daylight savings competition was won by TLC Property Maintenance with P Holmes, S Holmes, R Rainey, L Lockton, L Marks and C Silk making up the team.
The pointscore stands as follows: Young Tyrepower 28, FTS Financial Services 24, Flanders Eye Q 23, TLC Property Maintenance 23, Young Sportspower 22 and Young Powdercoating on 16 points.
This Friday the big 000 Emergency Services Golf Day will be held.
This is an open four person ambrose and non-golfers are welcome.
Shot gun start at 11am.
It promises to be a great day and supporting a number of local charities.

On Friday evening, March 4, commencing about 6pm, we are holding a function to induct Rick Oliver into the Wall of Fame.
The flag sponsors for the next 12 months will be recognised.
A barbecue will operate and hopefully we will have a good number attend.
The first round of the club championship will be held on Saturday, March 5, in conjunction with the monthly medal.
