
On Saturday, August 27 the Young Golf Club will host the CGU and Richard Mellish Insurance Services Par 3 Tournament for men and ladies.
This event is an 18 hole stroke played from a shortened course making each hole a Par 3. The event is open to anyone with a current membership at an affiliated golf club and with a current Golflink number. There are separate sections for men and ladies with handicap divisions or grades for both.
Major sponsors CGU Insurance and Richard Mellish Insurance Services have put in $1000 for prizes. Nearest the pins will also be held on all 18 holes.
On August 28 the club will hold a Medley Stableford, with prizes donated by Col, Trish and Andrew Miller.
Trivia night, September 2 at the Golf Club, at 7.30pm. Tables of eight, $15 per person. Please bring your own nibbles. Thanks very to Helen Spencer for running the trivia night again.

August 17 Medley Stableford Pro's Comp: First Konah Miller 43 points, second Ian Broderick 42 points, third Wayne Hewson 40 points, fourth James French 39 points (three under par), fifth John Connell 38 points, sixth Michele Blizzard 37 points on a countback from Rick Oliver and Ian Page. Balls went down to 31 points on a countback.
