The Young Tennis Club winter fast tennis night competition was completed last week, with the winning team, Common As Muck taking the title.
The winning team of the fast tennis competition was Rodney Staff, Tim Eggington, Amanda Butt and Caitlin McMillan, and runners-up were Phil Cartwright, Greg Brookelly, Leneve Cartwright and Vicki Bursill.
Our next lot of competition will commence on Monday, October 10 with the B Grade night competition on Monday night, followed by the fast tennis competition on Tuesday nights and A Grade tennis on Wednesday night from 7pm to 9pm.
Senior daytime tennis is on Wednesday mornings and Saturday mornings from 8am and our adult lady competition on Thursday mornings with start time of 9.30am.

The Young Tennis Club will host a Red Bull competition for juniors on Mondays from 4pm until 5pm.
The Red Bull competition will start during the second week of Term 4. Entries will need to be in to Colin by October 10.
The Young Tennis Club will host a school holiday coaching clinic in the first week of the school holidays starting on Monday, September 26 through to Thursday, September 29.
The classes will involve Red Ball and Orange Ball coaching in competition play and all players are advised to be at the courts at 8.30am daily. This will conclude at 12.30pm for your school holiday tennis training camp.
“With the holiday clinic it’s a great week to come along because we do play the Australian Open format, the junior Wimbledon format and the French Open,” Col said.
“We encourage all children to dress up as pro players on that particular day.
“It’s a great opportunity to get out and enjoy the atmosphere with exercise while playing the great game of tennis.”
Our next tennis gala day will be held in Cootamundra on Sunday, October 23.
Play was washed out on Sunday, September 18 and will be rescheduled for November 6.
