Two teams took to the green on Tuesday to play off for the Winners of the Triples Championship.
Margaret Gailey, Heather Bailey and Judith Mulligan played Judy Watson, Margaret Glasheen and Sheila Traynor.
It was a very exciting game and could have gone either way in the first half then Margaret Gailey’s team pulled ahead and finally won 22-9.
Six teams of lady Bowlers travelled to Boorowa for their Friends Day. Teams included Crookwell, Young, Cootamundra Ex Services Club, Grenfell, Boorowa Ex Services Club and Yass.
With two composite teams representing Boorowa Recreation club 22 ladies and two gentlemen took to the green (which was surprisingly dry) and enjoyed a really pleasant day.
Cootamundra Ex Services Club won the day with Boorowa Recreation Club (Team No 1) being Runners up.
