Saturday saw the October monthly medals finally decided over 18 holes with he same nine holes being played twice.

Sunday’s weather was an improvement but only a few golfers ventured out in the medley.
The Mixed Foursomes championships will be played at another time to be finalised.
Next Saturday we will hold a single event for the men and ladies, sponsored by Lyndsay Regan, Todd Shipton, Maurice Penson, Frank Lincoln, Phil Mitchell and South West Tractors.
On Sunday we are hosting a four person open Ambrose as a fund raiser for Hayley Anderson.
This an open event and we encourage support.
The day will start with a shot gun start a 10am.

CLUB FAREWELLS PHIL
The Gleneagles function centre at the golf club was buzzing on Friday night with about 140 attendng from the community to acknowledge Phil Cartwright and Leneve's (Phil's wife) contribution to the golf club and the community.
After 33 years Phil will hand over to the newly appointed professional Bryce Mawhinney in October.
The function was chaired by Mr Ian Page who delivered plenty of humour and kept the show rolling.
