Teams from Binalong, Burrangong, Cooloogong and Canowindra competed in the memorial match of the player who was tragically killed in an accident on his way home following a game played against Binalong in 2015.
The Burrangong Bears Rugby League Club were represented by their First Grade and League Tag teams. Both featured additional players, with First Grade welcoming back the Campbell brothers and league tag boosted by four Cargo players.
Five games were held throughout the day, the first being between Gooloogong and Canowindra. The second game of the day saw Burrangong defeat Binalong 22-14. This was followed by the League Tag Match which resulted in Binalong defeating the Bears 10-nil. Canowindra defeated Binalong in game four, and Gooloogong defeated Burrangong in the final game.
