Combined Pensioners and Superannuants Association Young branch held their last meeting for 2016 on November 7. We’ve been lucky to have new members welcomed at every meeting this year.
The next monthly meeting will be at 2pm on January 16, with our pre-subs day at 1pm prior. Our yearly social advisory committee meeting will be held at 9.30am on January 9. Happy 90th birthday to Marie McCabe who will be presented a certificate and card before our Christmas party and awards ceremony on December 5 at 11.30am. We will also celebrate Les Murray’s 100th birthday followed by Dot Jeffress’ president’s award. Happy golden wedding anniversary to Gail and Alf Hill. A Wilkinson’s coach trip to Orange will be held on November 12 with a leaving time of 7am at $33. A Community Transport trip to Gunning on November 25 will pick up from 7.30am. Thanks to the Witness and 2YYY for all their help during 2016. To members not attending the Christmas party – happy Christmas and have a healthy and happy new year.
