After the previous Saturday set a local record for a new February maximum temperature by a whole degree.
However, the humidity put a slight dampener on proceedings as it hovered variously between 99 percent and 100 per cent.
But the golfers were undeterred, even with a rain-delayed start to said proceedings.
Winning with the only score in positive territory on the day was Peter Frecklington with plus two.
Nearest the pin also going to Peter on the eighth with 1199 centimetres, keeping the trend going for the day’s winner to also hit the best par three drive of the day.
