A 57-year-old Bribbaree man is in a critical condition in Royal North Shore Hospital after the auger he was using struck power lines.

Police have said between 9 am and 11.30 am this morning a 57-year-old man at a Bribbaree farm was using an auger to load grain from a truck into a silo when the auger touched power lines.
The man suffered full thickness burns to his abdomen and back.
He was treated on the scene by ambulance officers and airlifted to Royal North Shore hospital in Sydney.
The man is currently in a critical condition.
Police said Worksafe NSW are investigating the incident.
According to veteran ambulance officer Stephen Pollard, Grenfell ambulance officers attended the scene as Young officers were attending to a car accident in Young.
“He received burns to his abdomen, face and arms,” Mr Pollard said.
“He was treated on the scene by paramedics.
“The Orange base helicopter was activated and he was airlifted to Royal North Shore hospital,” Mr Pollard said.
