Play for the winter season will start from 6 pm on Monday evening with all players and teams to have their registration and fees paid before they set foot on to the courts. The adult competition will be played on the indoor courts away from the rain and cold, so competition will not be cancelled regardless of what the weather is doing outside.
Tuesday evening Young and District Netball Association will hold a meeting at Young Services Club from 6 pm. All are welcome to attend and contribute to discussions and decisions on the direction of the club and upcoming events.
Young and District Netball Association are also holding a movie fundraiser to help the representative teams get to their state competitions. The movie night is to be held on May 18 with a showing of Snatched starring Amy Schumer and Goldie Hawn. Tickets are $25 each and includes pizza, wine and desserts. Tickets are available at the Young Witness offices.
