Many of the Coles and Woolworths stores in big cities have the convenient click and collect online shopping service available.
The service allows customers to order groceries online after which store members then collect the items for you from the shelves, enabling you to come in and pick up the already gathered goods.
The service is already available in Dubbo, Bathurst and Wellington, so Young residents are asking – why not us?
One Young shopper said Young should be a "big enough" town to have the service already.
Woolworths Young assistant store manager Royce Rumble said the click and collect service is not available in Young at the moment.
"That service is not available in Young right now, but our store is in discussions with state operations to bring it to Young," he said. "If it does happen it'll be here by the end of the year."
