The day will commence with a 10 a side, 10min half, non tackle, half field scratch match between a team of no longer elite Old Boys and the cream of the Saints Juniors. There is bound to be bribery, cheating and drama from the Old Boys during this fun match all in aid of the club. Umpire for the game, recently retired Old Boy Geoff Harmer is ready for any back chat, faked injuries or cheating from the Old Boys. This will be a great spectacle.
The curtain raiser to the Seniors game is a junior Auskick game for younger players and families to get involved in AFL. The Seniors game will be the Saints against the Orange Tigers. These two clubs have had a fierce rivalry beginning back in the 80s when the clubs fought epic battles and decided a number of Central West AFL Premierships between themselves.
Details can be found on the Young Saints Facebook Events Page.
