Young Regional School of Music are proud to announce the band is back by popular demand bringing with them a whole new range of tunes for their performance.
Students from Young High School will once again be entertained by the band.
During the last Hot Potato Band performance it didn’t take long for the auditorium to erupt with music, cheers and dancing encouraging the students to become a part of the music.
While in Young, they’ll be performing again for the students at Young High School and they’ll be sure to wow the students as they did before.
Teachers said they were thrilled to have the opportunity to have this band back at the school, as last year they were left wishing that the whole school could have seen them.
One student even commented that they were their new favourite band and were asking how they could get their music.
As regular performers at music festivals all over the country these guys are effervescent and liven up a room as soon as they enter.
Their talent brings with them sounds that’s unique coming from a trombone, saxophones, deconstructed drum kits, trumpets and even a sousaphone, while the vocalist adds style and finesse to top it all off.
The Hot Potato Band Have been featured recently on Triple J’s Roots ‘n All program and they have a great selection of originals and cover versions that have been released on iTunes and Spotify.
Entry for the performance is $20 for adults and $10 for students so come along and join in a night of fun, cheer and awesome music.
