Since 1994 businesses, individuals and groups across Young and the entire country have been hosting morning teas with all proceeds being donated to the Cancer Council’s big fundraiser.
The official date of Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea is May 24 but events can be held anytime between now and June.
According to the Cancer Council one Australian is diagnosed with cancer approximately every five minutes, the length of an average tea break, so what better way to help the search for a cure by doing something good with a tea break.
By hosting or attending an event participants can help Cancer Council NSW continue its research and programs.
