According to police from the Young Police Station three people involved in the accident were conveyed to hospital, one with minor injuries and a suspected epileptic fit, one suffering from shock and one woman who was trapped in the back of one of the vehicles.
Police said one car was travelling along Wombat Street when another car went straight through the intersection with Berthong Street. The car then collided with the vehicle on Wombat street when it flipped and landed on a third vehicle turning left at the intersection.
The road was only closed for a short period as police investigated the incident.
Police said they believe that speed was involved in the cause of the accident and the driver of the offending vehicle will receive an infringement notice.
