EXCITING FINISH TO DISTRICT SINGLES
Two games in the Finals of the South West District Pairs were played on Thursday June 7 at Young Bowling Club.

Both games had the spectators on the edge of their seats wondering who would win this year.
The open District Final was between two bowlers from Young, Elsie Hines and Sheila Traynor.
It was very even for a while until Elsie went ahead and won 25 to 18.
Elsie has won the District Singles for the last three years and will represent the South West District at Regionals on July 17 and 18 at Cootamundra Country Club.
The second final which was the Consolation for Bowlers who had only played one game and was between Margo Parker and Ann Gardner.
Also, a very exciting game which was eventually won by Margo 25 to 16.
Congratulations to all players and good luck to Elsie at the Regionals.
