Excited kids and their parents began arriving at the Young Showgrounds where the over 180 children will be spending the week learning all things horses including how to create and decorate browbands thanks to local browband producer Juliet Jones and her business Swish Browbands.
Children will be taking part in lessons on showjumping, sporting, flat work, cross country, polocrosse, horsemanship and plenty of other types and styles of riding.
Thanks to organisers the kids in attendance will also have the opportunity to take part in a trivia night, Young Pony Club Has Got Talent show and talks from professional horse men and women.
The camp started on Sunday and will run all the way until lunchtime on Friday when there will be lots of tired kids and ponies making their way home for the remainder of the school holidays.
