Glenn Wilmot continues to collect some handy cheques winning again at Canberra last Sunday night.
His Courage Under Fire three year old gelding Twenty-eight-black returned to the winners circle in race 2 defeating the more fancied Allstar Sea (David Hewitt) and Annie Matilda (Will Rixon in a close finish with only a neck margin top his advantage with only a head separating the minor placegetters.

The mile rating of 1;59.6 for the 1770 metre event was certainly in keeping with most other races on the seven race programme.
Last Friday the Wagga Harness Racing club staged aten race programme and again local trainers picked up some loot. Rodney Blyth made a welcome return to the winner podium with the consistent mare Hello Miss Kitty who defeated Sunset Snooze and Misflibbertigibbet in great style.
The win came after some eye catching runs at Wagga and Bathurst recently, the TAB dividend to the winner of $4.50 was gratefully received by his many followers.
Murringo mentor Nathan Hoy certainly took full advantage of the number one gate with Cherry Sweet Peach, leading throughout in a fast run race to defeat Leaks Smokin and Hilly with a very short price of $1.60 on offer for those who thought another win for the notable leader.

Possibly the most excited man at Wagga was definitely Neil Wilkes when his pacer To Alaska, driven by Blake Jones, finally broke through for a well deserved win after being transferred to the stable of leading Canberra trainer John Cooper.
Starting a short $1.60 favourite, the win was the first of a winning double for Cooper with Ellen Louise taking out the following race, driven by Ellen Bartley and paying $3.70 for her well deserved win.
Trainers will now be looking toward the next meeting at Young to be held next Sunday 21st October at the Young Paceway.
