In the Hume Police District police conducted 3950 stationary roadside breath tests, 69 drug tests and also handed out 70 driver infringement notices for offences including speeding, not wearing a seat belt or not displaying P plates.

Three drivers in Young were caught drink driving while one man tested positive to driving with an illicit substance in his system.
About 12.30am on Saturday morning a 52-year-old male was stopped on McCleary Street and produced a low range reading to drink driving. He was later charged at Young Police Station.
On Saturday night, about 8pm, police stopped a 35-year-old man who tested positive to driving with cannabis in his system. He was issued a 24hr driver suspension notice and will await further results.
A 51-year-old male also registered a low range reading about 10.30pm on Sunday night, as did an ACT woman who was stopped on Lovell Street about 10pm on Sunday.
Police are making further enquiries regarding the matter involving the 51-year-old male while the ACT woman was charged and issued a court attendance notice.
