Barry is the president of Young Pony Club and a local equestrian identity who works tirelessly to assist various horse sports and clubs in the area, driving a truck to cart water and dampen arenas and surfaces to make them suitable for riding on.
Barry doesn't ride at the dressage club or have family members attend, but generously donates his time to ensure the seamless and high standard of the dressage events are met and for this Young Dressage Association are truly thankful for his services to the club.
On the Sunday of the weekend the Young Dressage Association held its first competition day for 2019 with a fantastic turn out and some very close results in each of the tests.
The results from the February Official Competition can be found on the Young Dressage Association website at https://www.youngdressage.com/results.
The next big event at Bendick Murrell will be the annual Donges Supa IGA Championships held from 12-14 April.
Entries for the annual competition are coming in thick and fast with the last chance to enter on March 13.
The Championships are a fantastic three days of dressage with spectators and the general public invited and encouraged to attend and see some top class horses and riders.
