Young Dressage Association invites the public to get to the Young Dressage Association grounds at Bendick Murrell where they can watch riders of all ages from 8 to 85 will be judged by 30 judges from New Zealand, Western Australia, Queensland, Tasmania and New South Wales.
There is something for all horse enthusiasts and all ages with the event getting bigger and better every year and this year is no different with catering for the weekend by Young Rotary, a raffle featuring artwork by Jacqui Melbourne, a teams competition, daily awards for best presented, 19 stalls at the trade village, a sponsor's morning tea from 11.30am on Saturday, Roger Fitzhardinge will be hosting another fantastic masterclass on Friday afternoon, an Easter egg hunt from 4.30pm on Friday afternoon and of course over 300 horses and 230 riders competing over the three days.
Competitors, volunteers and their families will be greeted this year on Thursday evening with a welcome barbecue between 6 and 7pm as a great way for everyone to come together and meet friends new and old.
Events will ride into the arenas on Friday morning with breed limited, young rider, closed unrestricted classes and the always highly anticipated Pas de Deux/Quadrille class followed by the Masterclass by Roger Fitzhardinge at 4.30pm.
On Saturday cantering onto the grounds will be the Official Competitive competitors including freestyle, Prix Caprilli and Grand Prix as well as FEI horse, pony and riders with a full day and seven arenas running on a full schedule.
Sunday the FEI and Official Competitive horse, pony and riders will continue to piaffe their way across the arenas.
Prix St George will also take centre stage on Sunday with 18 horse and rider combinations dancing on the sand.
