To celebrate the arrival, and to encourage participation, Wallendbeen and surrounding residents are invited to attend a free Active Farmer class at the Wallendbeen Hall on Saturday May 4 at 9.30 am.
The class will be followed by delicious brunch and information session.
According to the Active Farmers group Glenn brings a huge amount of enthusiasm and passion for the health of the Wallendbeen community, and is excited to be running classes suitable for all levels of fitness and experience.
"Active Farmers is a service that brings farmers, and all members of the community, together through group fitness in a fun and interactive environment," an Active Farmers spokesperson said.
"Designed especially for farmers and smaller communities with limited access to fitness expertise and equipment, Active Farmers provides motivational, challenging and fun training sessions to help promote great physical health and mental health."
Almost three years ago Active Farmers became established after a joint venture with Delta Agribusiness.
In 2019 the organisation hopes to expand into as many country towns as possible, working with those on the land to improve not only physical fitness but mental health across the board.
