Hilltops Council this week advised that it is in receipt of a development application for a development which would include a Bunnings store at 288 Boorowa Street, Young.
The application has been lodged by SBM Planning for a two staged development at the site.
The first stage would involve demolition works at the site and construction of a building to house Bunnings.
A detailed design and configuration would then occur for a second tenant at the site.
A separate development application would need to be lodged at a later date by the second tenant.
The proposed development is integrated development as a Controlled Activity Approval is required under the Water Management Act 2000.
Hilltops Council is the consent authority for this application.
The development application can be be inspected at Hilltops Council offices, Town Hall, Boorowa Street, Young, Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm until 18 July 2019.
