Police have charged a man following a break-in at a Young residence.

About 1.25am on Saturday, September 14 an occupant of a home in Young was asleep when they were awoken by noises and a light on in the house.
Police say the occupant of the home went to the other end of the house and police will allege they found a 37-year-old man of no fixed residence looking in a cupboard.
The occupant of the home did not know this man, police say.
A conversation followed before the man left. Police were called and attended, commencing an investigation.
About 9pm on Saturday, September 14 police located the 37-year-old man on Zouch Street, Young.
He was arrested and taken to Young Police Station where he was charged with the offences of break, enter and steal and goods in custody.
