Long was awarded Female Player of the Year while Hislop received the Male Player of the Year gong, following stellar seasons in their respective Football Wagga competitions.
Fifteen-year-old Hislop also won Male Rookie of the Year, capping an outstanding season in the senior grades.
Lions coach Mark Mellish said Hislop has huge potential.
"The sky's the limit for that kid," he said.
"You set him a task and he does it. He'll be a phenomenal player."
Hislop wasn't far away from winning the Football Wagga third grade Player of the Year title as he helped lead Young to the premiership.
He also made his Lions first grade debut and went on to make four appearances in the top grade.
"He held his own. His next challenge is being able to utilise his strengths in that grade," Mellish said.
Long has been part of the ladies' side for a number of years and is captain of the squad.
She was one of the best centre-midfielders in the competition in 2019.
"She's a role model for a lot players in the club," Mellish said.
"She's really deserving of this award."
The ladies made the first week of finals however were knocked out.
