Local businesses are being invited to take part in a tourism product distribution workshop presented by Hilltops Council and Destination Southern NSW on Wednesday November 27 from 1pm to 5pm. The workshop is the first in a series, and will cover how to improve your online presence, how to sell your tourism product and how to create solid tourism partnerships. The workshops are free. Visitors Arrive
There's a real buzz in the air at Young as the cherry season gains momentum. Visitor are here to help with the harvest as well as join in the pick-you-own harvest and purchase delicious fruit. More tourists are headed for town too, to take part in the Woolworths 70th National Cherry Festival on December 6, 7 and 8.
Christmas Events
If the National Cherry Festival is being conducted in just two weeks, can Christmas be far behind? There are many Christmas related activities planned. These include Carols by Candlelight in Hilltops towns, Christmas Tree Festivals at Young and a combined churches Christmas service on Christmas Day at Catherine McAuley Hall, 9.30am Christmas Day. - November 29: Young Harness Racing Night Meeting, Young Paceway Murringo/Boorowa Rd, Starts at 6pm.
