Justin Garlick and Harry Cleverdon have been named joint-winners of Young's 2021 Junior Citizen of the Year.

Justin was recognised for his contribution to the community as a student leader at Hennessy Catholic College, a volunteer in Young's SES unit, and an active member of Young's Cadet unit.
He's been an SES volunteer with Young's SES unit since June, 2019, and has completed courses in six operational areas.
This year, Justin will be given ranking of Cadet Sergeant of the 200 Army Cadet Unit, putting him second in charge of cadets from Grenfell, Cowra, Boorowa and Young.
At Hennessy Catholic College, Justin is a founding member of the Student Wellbeing Action Group.
He was an active leader in the school's lockdown during COVID-19 in 2020, organising online student activities during a time of isolation. He established an online gaming group allowing all Hennessy students to participate in online team challenges.
Justin also participates regularly in the school's extracurricular activities including Movember, anti-bullying events and sports carnivals.
He thanked his family and everyone who has supported him.
"Thank you to everyone who has helped me out including my Mum, my family, the commanding officer of my Cadet unit and the commanding officer of my SES unit who have helped me out through this time. All the people at my school who have helped me get through the years at high school," Justin said.
"Thanks to everyone who has been able to help me out with everything I've accomplished, I couldn't have done anything without the guidance and leadership of all those people."
Hilltops mayor Brian Ingram congratulated Justin.
"Justin is an outstanding example of the great contribution to the community that young people make and is today recognised for his highly visible level of commitment to helping people when they are vulnerable, building peer-support networks and an unfailing willingness to assist where and when he is able," Mr Ingram said.
Harry was was honoured for his success as a promising singer-songwriter, who has won numerous national competitions and an international People's Choice Award.
He's a finalist in Australia's songwriting association awards and recently released his new album 'Octothorpe' which complements his debut EP 'From My Side of The Stage'.
He regularly performs at events across the Hilltops and entertains at Take 5 at Young Library.
Mayor Ingram said Harry has made a significant contribution to the Young community.
"On Australia Day, 2021 it is fitting that we applaud and encourage the effort, determination and commitment that young Australians such as Harry show," mayor Ingram said.
Harry graduated from Hennessy Catholic College in 2020.
He also took out the 2021 Harden Junior Citizen of the Year award.
