Little Magpie’s Landscape Dialogues underway

The little magpie gallery has been full speed ahead in the final weeks preparing for their exhibition: LANDSCAPE DIALOGUES.

Landscape Dialogues follows Orange-based artist, Rhonda Campbell, in her journeys through paintings and works on paper into the Australian landscape. The exhibition showcases the artist’s work from 2010 to 2025 and moves across a range of mediums including oils, acrylics and cold wax. Rhonda Campbell’s visual language captures the variety and breadth of our country highlighting her unique vision and understanding of both the materials of her practice and the special beauty she finds and conveys in the places she depicts.

The exhibition is curated by art historian and Cowra resident Peter Haynes who has also written the essay. A wonderful collaboration with designer Claire Fox and Rhonda Campbell has resulted in a beautiful publication that accompanies the exhibition and features Peter Haynes’s essay. Little Magpie Gallery Director, Inel Date, is proud to present Landscape Dialogues and celebrate the exceptional talents of the artist, Rhonda Campbell.

We have many events planned for the month of April. Visiting groups from Canowindra and Orange who have booked in a private visit and floor talk by Peter Haynes. The opening event is Thursday 10 April at 6pm and we are launching “The Art of Lunch” a collaboration with chef James Vidulich from the Oak on Kendal a ticketed lunch event.
