An incredibly quiet week in Cowra Championship Bowls this past week.
On Saturday Ian (Wal) Walker had a particularly good win over Rob Oliver 150/114 in the 1st Consistency Singles Semi-final. Steve Sculthorpe and Brayden Chew are scheduled to play the 2nd semi-final in the coming week or so.
Upcoming Matches and Events.
This coming Saturday at 1.00pm will see Tom Peadon, Rob Oliver, Rob Britt and Peter Lesueur take on Shane Lauritzen, Bob Morgan, Steve Sculthorpe and Shane Egan in the 1st Round of Men’s Fours. We also hope to play the final of the Men’s A Grade Pairs where Noel and Mark Hubber will face Mike Baldwin and Joe Burgin, plus the final of the Men’s C Grade Pairs where Tony Savage and Kevin Webb will come up against Dave McLoughlin and Dave Bohanna.

On Sunday morning at 10.00am our mixed social bowls will be back, so phone in between 8.45am and 9.30am to put your name in.
Also on Sunday, at 1.00pm we will have the 1st Round of Club Open Pairs between the Hubbers (Noel & Sharen) and the Bohannas (Dave & Sharon). Again, we are hoping to play the final of the Men’s B Grade Pairs in which Bob Morgan and Steve Sculthorpe take on Ken Porter and Brayden Chew.
Nomination sheets are on the Notice Boards for the Region Men’s and Ladies State Triples, with some matches to be played at Cowra in July.
