The game was fairly even for a while and then Zita and Kate began to forge ahead to give them a score of 24 to 14.
By winning this game Kate and Zita qualified for the final against Ann Gardner and Sheila Traynor.
On Tuesday a team of three travelled to Harden for their President’s Day and a team also travelled to Canowindra for their President’s Day.
On the home front the final of the minor pairs took place.
Ann Gardner and Sheila Traynor took an early lead, then Zita Farrell and Kate Cooper adjusted to the changing wind and began scoring.
After 10 ends the game was still open.
However a four and three put Zita and Kate well ahead.
Ann and Sheila then scored a few more shots but, on the 16th end, needed eight shots to get a draw.
This did not happen so Zita and Kate came out the winners 19–16.
Congratulations ladies.
