Guests enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea with a selection of delicious slices, cakes on high tea stands pots of tea, coffee and refreshments served by the Young Cherry Guides and Opal Guides.
The garden was filled with beautiful music played by the Young Regional School of Music.
Guests could take advantage of having a fun photo at the photobooth by Adele Pardy Photography.
The children experienced their own high tea in the high tea marquee with their own teapots and sweets and had their face painted by the talented Katie Fisher before exploring the gardens.
The silent auction table provided many packages including a pamper pack, gardening and car care pack, oil painting and art package which were all kindly donated by Repco, Mitre 10, Supercheap Auto and Robyn Wheeler.
Special thanks to the many sponsors from local businesses who supported the event and others who gave up their time.
Overall the day was fabulous and many thanks to the Young District Support team for all their work and Guide families and friends of families for your contribution and help in making the day such a success, raising a total of $1840.
Thank you also to the Young Baptist Church for the use of their table and chairs and Boorowa Council’s umbrellas.
On behalf of the Young District Girl Guide Unit we would like to thank the generous support of the community for your contribution in attending this fundraising event and making it such a success.
