Judge for the day, Anne McClelland, put everyone through their paces, judging appaloosas, quarter horses and paint horses as well as Arabs, Welsh, miniature ponies and horses.
Steward for the day was the club’s founding member, Fred Burton.
Well, what a fantastic weekend to finish up our year of 2014!
Another successful show day on the Saturday and a brilliant fun day on the Sunday. So many laughs and so many firsts for some of our members. The committee is so proud of this club and how far it has come in an extremely short period of time.

Fred Burton presented all the Hi Point rosettes and ribbons, and the beautiful garland for supreme ridden western horse to Hanna Jones.

We have some fantastic riders in our youth sections, ranging from two to 18 years.
Hi Point Youth will receive an embroidered rug at the clubs end of year presentation, kindly donated by Eveready Performance’s, Jenifer Cayfe.
Also a Hi Point Youth Buckle Donated by Natasha Peasley.

What a wonderful day our Fun Day was.
Santa and Mrs Clause with their very own elf came for a visit, taking all the children for a ride in his carriage.
The games started with barrel racing led on foot then ridden, littlies with their parents. What a ball they had.
What? A donkey and lamb running the barrels, was someone running astride the lamb, so many chuckles. Flag races, Joker Trail classes, children leading Adults in a barrel race Hilarious.
A mid-day barbecue and cold drinks were well sought after even - Kevin ended up climbing into the ice bucket.
Great rosettes and ribbons and raffle for all sorts of gifts were well patronised.
