While the Young Croquet Club’s 25th anniversary weekend has been postponed, there are plenty of activities to look forward to at Young in July.
The regular Farmers Market will be held tomorrow morning in Anderson Park and again on July 15.
The Uniting Church Markets are scheduled monthly on the second Saturday of the month.
The local Southern Cross Cinema has a full program of events for July including various movies for the school holidays.
The Lambing Flat Folk Museum in Campbell Street is open seven days a week and has a varied display of historical artefacts from the local district, as well as a very good display depicting the gold mining history of the 1860’s.

Calling on Cherry King/Queen Entrants:
The annual National Cherry Festival Queen/King entrant competition is fun.
It isa great way to meet members of the community by holding fundraising events and activities in the lead up to the official crowning of the winner for 2016 at the festival on the first weekend in December.
If you would like to assist a local charity by fundraising and support the National Cherry Festival and the Hilltops Region, call up to the Visitor Centre for a entrant information pack, phone 6382 3394 or email: info@visityoung.com.au for details.
Both single and married entrants are welcome, but do need to be over the age of 18.

The Young Visitor Information Centre is located in the Railway Station off Lovell Street.
We are open seven days: 9am-5pm Monday to Friday, and 9.30am to 4pm weekends and public holidays.
The Burrangong Art Gallery and the Hilltops Regional Wine Cellar are located within the centre with free entry, and they are open seven days.
