According to Weatherzone, last month beat the previous record of 142.6mm in 1998.
Our wettest day this June was on the 20th when we received 22.2mm of rain.
It was a drastic change from last year when Young only received 37mm.
It was more than double the average for June which is 65.2mm and we only had seven dry days all month.
