It will be bulls, barrels, broncos and beer as the Gledhill's Earthmoving Mick Gorham Boorowa Rodeo Stampede kicks off on October 1.
The event is once again sponsored by Gledhill’s Earthmoving Mick Gorham and the Boorowa Rodeo Stampede would like to thank them for their ongoing support, dedication and hard work that make the show possible.
National Rodeo finalist and Boorowa’s very own Troy Cross will be competing on the day, which is set to sizzle with a performance from Walter Whip and The Flames. Walter will bring his world class performance – whip cracking with fire – to the rodeo.
Rodeo president, Matt Darmody, said after never in 30 years of rodeo had he left a town with the same buzz Boorowa had in the weeks after the 2015 event.
“It showed last year with an additional 1200 people coming out to the event,” he said. “With only getting bigger n better with fire n flame in 2017 the event is anticipating 3000 people coming to town to watch the spectacular event.”
