The forecast
Pack the ponchos and umbrellas just in case Melbourne turns into its unpredictable self.
It will be raining as people wake up on Saturday morning but by the bounce at 2.30pm those showers will have cleared, according to Weatherzone and the Bureau of Meteorology.
By half-time, the showers will have cleared completely and the weather will remain cool but dry throughout Saturday evening.
Melbourne will be partly cloudy, with a top of 17 degrees and rainfall between one and four millimetres in the morning.
"All of the game is looking dry at this stage, if there's any rainfall during the grand final it will be very light and brief, and it won't have any significant impact on play," Weatherzone meteorologist Ben Domensino said.
