Fifteen holes were playable and that situation could exist for some time. Twelve ladies competed in two divisions with trophies donated by Carolyn Shaw and Joan Coddington.
Maxine McCormack was the winner in division one with 68 nett. Carolyn Shaw played well to win division two with 71 nett.
Ball comp winners were Maxine 68, Michele Blizzard 70, Carolyn Shaw 71 and Leanne Slater 72 on a countback from Jan Broderick.
Nearest the pin winners were Gail Hanigan in A Grade for her drive and chip on the Keith Simmons Engineering sponsored 13th hole and Libby Plumley won the card draw in C Grade for the Elegant Timber Shutters and Blinds sponsored seventh hole.
On Sunday the 2016 SWLGA Medals playoff was held at Harden.
Young was well represented with Helen Spencer in gold division.
Kate Cooper represented Young in the silver division and Tilla Davis, Maureen Perkins and Libby Plumley in bronze division.
Helen Spencer and Libby Plumley were successful in their division.
They will now have the opportunity to play in the State medals playoff in Sydney later in the year.
On Wednesday a disappointing field of five ladies competed in a single stroke event sponsored by Donges Supa IGA.
It was also the Tee off for Breast Cancer Research day and the ladies were appropriately attired in pink.
The winner was Leanne Slater with 69 nett.
Betty Stanton was second with 72 nett.

The event this Saturday is a medley four ball best ball Stableford. This event will be sponsored by Col and Michele blizzard.
It is also the weekend day for Tee off for Breast Cancer, so more pink please.
